WHO IS GOD THE SON? – JESUS CHRIST
Two thousand years ago, God sent His Son to become a man and walk among us. The relationship between the “everywhere-present” God and the “contained-in-a-body” God is more like a father and a son relationship than anything else we humans can conceive of:
- Jesus claimed to be equal to God. His message was, “God exists, and you’re looking at Him.”
- He healed the sick, raised the dead, drove out demons, foretold the future, forgave people for their sins and
performed other miracles.
- He spent a lot of time among the ungodly and unsavory.
- He reached out to the poor, oppressed and humble.
- His life fulfilled over 200 Old Testament prophesies.
- Three days after His betrayal and crucifixion He rose from the dead proving His claim to be God the Son.
