| In early 2002, a small Military Ministry team of six went to El Salvador to provided leadership training. One of the members of the team was a former F-16 pilot who brought video clips of “dog fights” to show to members of the Air Force in El Salvador. One of the members that attended the conference was Ricardo Hernandez. The next day after the conference, the leadership team took Ricardo to breakfast and asked him if he was interested in becoming the director of the Military Ministry of El Salvador. He told them that God had been preparing him for this for the past nine years. He is now the Military Ministry Director of El Salvador. Please continue to pray for Ricardo. He and a few Christian friends launched the “Wings for Christ” ministry within the Air Force as a vehicle to reach out to officers and NCOs and to provide leadership training to the cadets at the School of Aviation. So far, more than 200 people have been exposed to the gospel through his efforts. |
