Military Ministry

Romania

The following is just a small sample of what is happening in the Military Ministry of Romania:

Vali and Melinda Lupu
Vali & Melinda Lupu
Romanian Leader

Vali Lupu, Military Ministry Director in Romania, has been encouraged by the way the Lord has been leading him to cadets who are interested in knowing Him. A cadet recently shared that he has been studying the four Gospels avidly, yet he has never shared this with anyone before.

Vali and his wife Melinda have prayed God would send others to work alongside them to help open doors to the nation’s academies. In April 2003, Col Rick Goldsmith, USA (Ret.) spent two weeks with Vali, teaching leadership and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the cadets and officers at each of Romania’s five military academies. As a result of this visit, Vali has established contacts and credibility among Romanian military leaders.

Vali arranged with the Commandant of the Land Forces Academy (U.S. Army version of West Point) to have a leadership team led by Brigadier General Dick Abel (USAF, Ret.) from Military Ministry to speak at all of the Romanian Academies. General Uscoy asked Vali to establish a Military Ministry training program at his academy. This will be a great help as Vali and his wife seek to share the love of Christ with members of the armed forces.
