Prayer

Military Ministry seeks to bathe everything we do in prayer. These pages and our new Prayer Center exist to encourage you and provide the means for you to be involved in this critical ministry.

Here are just a few of the hundreds of prayer requests Military Ministry receives from service men, women and families.

Please pray for:

  • Chaplains at Fort Hood, Texas. Pray that God provide resillience and protection from “compassion fatigue.”
  • Military Chaplains in Iraq and Afghanistan, that they will receive the care and healing that they need as they care for the needs of others.
  • Caring Christians, that they would expereince guidance and inspiration in our Bridges to Healing training that will help them minister to those suffering from combat trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
  • Those who have not yet sought after or received the ultimate Christmas gift - eternal life through Jesus Christ.
  • Vali Lupu and his Military Ministry team in Romania to reach military officers attending bible studies and military communities using the God and the Military Bible study series.
  • The Ft. Leonard Wood (Missouri) Military Ministry basic trainee Bible study.  Director Bill Bennett reports 300 new recruits attending the first study with 20 indicating decisions to receive Christ as personal savior.  Praise God!
  • Our deploying troops; special request for military couple Jonathan and Angela, now separated for Jonathan’s 4th deployment. Angela is preparing to begin a Military Ministry Bible study with other military wives.
  • Families and friends of the soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq in February.
