#5 - Waiting for Him

Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.
Isaiah 64:4

Are you in a time of waiting right now? Waiting on God for the future because options are dwindling during this time of illness? Are you waiting for the Lord to show you what your purpose is in life now? Have hope that there will be better days to come and a full life to live healed on this earth having overcome this present situation.

My hope for you is to see God at work even in such a time as this. May you feel His guidance as He brings you to this place which you have been called to.

There is no God like our God, who in ages past or in ages to come will act on your behalf. Wait for him; He will reveal himself to you….wait.

Prayer

This time in my life brings so many questions, Lord. It can be very confusing to see anything positive coming out of my illness. My heart is heavy, but I wait upon You. May Your presence and peace prevail on my behalf. As You begin my healing process, please start with my heart. Amen.

Waiting for direction from the Lord in the midst of PTSD can be almost impossible. The feeling that nothing will change and that the situation will only get worse is a hard pill to swallow.

Trying to follow directions from the medical doctors and still feeling that nothing will work makes it even tougher to see that God is working on my behalf. This is where reading the Word of God and having to trust what He says is true. He will work on my behalf as I wait for Him.

Pray for Military Families

  1. Pray for the Soldier and Family members to learn that waiting for healing of PTSD can take longer than first expected.
  2. Pray they will begin to see positive steps towards healing in their families.
  3. Pray they will see the Lord God work on their behalf because He loves them.
