Spiritual Nurture
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
But how could they call on him without having faith in him?
And how could they have faith without having heard of him?
And how could they hear without someone to spread the news?
And how could anyone spread the news without being sent?
Romans 10:13-15
Military Ministry’s priority is Spiritual Nurture for Members of the US Military. We seek to offer uniformed sons and daughters of America an “anchor for the soul” through Jesus Christ. We invite them to accept spiritual transformation, even as they are being transformed physically and mentally.
Working within the framework of spiritual support provided by military chaplains and commanders, Military Ministry staff and volunteers come alongside these leaders and assist local churches in helping to build values, character, and Christian faith in these dear military service members throughout their military careers.

Testimonies
- It was not all that long ago that I was going through Basic Training. (My) faith was nourished through your programs, and for that I will never forget what the Military Ministry did for me during that difficult time. I am now enrolling in (college and) pursuing my degree in Christian Ministry.
- Thank you for speaking to the recruits about the Lord. My son, who stopped attending Church approximately 3 years ago, found comfort and peace in chapel these past few months. Both my husband and I thank the Lord, who has inspired the chaplain and you to bring my son back into His fold. God bless you always in your ministry. Sincerely, A Very Proud Marine Mom
- The Bible study has been a highlight of my week for the past 9 weeks. It is a piece of heaven to be able to come to the Bible study where we can relax and listen to….your teaching of God’s Word. I admire y’alls dedication to coming every Sunday and teaching us.
- I had no idea there was anything like this until I got to AIT (advanced individual training) and saw the impact that Military Ministry had.
- The general perception in the barracks is that if you want to hear about the Bible, be encouraged, and truly learn God’s Word, then you go to Bible study….I don’t speak just for myself on this, rather the majority of us church-goers all feel the same. People go around the bay trying to get others to come to Bible study. It’s the “best kept secret at Basic” was what I was told before I came.
